Product Reviews

Izziwotnot's Bailey Sleigh cot bed isn't the cheapest but it's stylish and well-constructed. It is easy to assemble, but it does require two people. It's gorgeous in any nursery. The panel we used was a fan of the dark wood and the dowel sides. It's strong enough to last until your baby turns toddler. It also is compliant with British safety standards. The depth is not enough to ensure that your child will be able to climb out the panel, and the distance between slats should not exceed 65mm. This should stop their heads from becoming stuck. You'll also have to buy a mattress that costs an additional PS88.

The cot stands out because of its shape-shifting sleigh design. It's also easy to get your baby inside and out, which is another important benefit. It is a bit more expensive than other cot-beds however, our panel of experts thought it was worth it for the design and durability.

This cot bed is available in walnut or country pine finishes. It is suitable from the time of birth. It comes with three mattress heights to ensure that you can start off your child high, making it easier for them to be accessed during the day or night. Then lower it as they get older. It also has added teething rails to safeguard your child's gums and their precious furniture. When your child is out of the cot bed it can be converted to a junior bed and then it can be converted into a sofa.

Silver Cross' westport design is another cot with an incredibly solid feel and built to last. It can be used as a cot right from birth, then later as a toddler bed, and then into a junior bed (toddler guard rails are available separately). It was a little difficult for our panel to turn the cot into a bed, however, their other half said it was easy and took less than 5 minutes. It's also a bit more expensive than other cots, however it's a style that you'd probably want to keep and use for your children as they grow up.
